Tom is responsible for leading and expanding the business across the UK and Europe, with a focus on delighting both clients and team members while delivering Carterwood’s mission to revolutionise and challenge the norm in everything it does.
As Managing Director, a key priority for Tom is ensuring exceptional value and the highest level of service for clients. These clients range from institutional and specialist real estate investors to large care home and retirement village operators, as well as developers, landowners, and other industry professionals.
Tom is also a regular speaker at events, conferences, and webinars, where he delivers engaging sessions that leverage high-quality data to present the latest trends, insights, and predictions to audiences across the social care sector.
Tom has worked with Carterwood’s co-founders for several years and assumed the role of Managing Director in January 2022. He has over a decade of experience in the social care sector, specialising in elderly care homes and retirement living. During this time, his work has spanned both the Advisory and Analytics divisions, providing bespoke reporting, strategic advice, and due diligence for clients involved in acquiring and developing social care real estate. He has also played a key role in growing the Analytics business, launched in April 2019, which delivers instant market analysis to hundreds of clients.
